Filed under Pagadian City The Philippines, being a country archipelago of islands and seas, have naturally wonderful beaches, some of which are famous the world over. Beaches like Puerto Galera, Boracay, and the various beaches in Cebu rake in tourists from around the world all year round because of their pristine and cool blue waters and fine, white-sand shores. However, if one will just look around more, they will find that there are other less-known but equally beautiful beach spots in other parts of the Philippines.
In Pagadian, in particular, there are beaches and islands that will make one believe that there is such a thing as a secluded paradise on Earth. A nice place to start would be the Dao-Dao Islands some seven to ten minutes away from the seaport, when riding a motorboat. It is a rather big island, with an area size of about 1.

This lesson plan offers a unique approach to learning about substance abuse as it focuses on student-directed activities. The activities allow students to explore the dangers of substance abuse and get directly involved in the prevention process. Prevention occurs best drug-by-drug, because knowledge of the adverse consequences of one drug will not necessarily generalize to the use of other drugs. Students’ beliefs and attitudes are specific to each drug.
The lesson also provides an opportunity to introduce differentiated learning to meet the needs of individual learners see note under “Making the Band” activity.

One of the issues that I try to address in the classroom is to have each student talking with the other students about their academic work. If you have students in groups, some will dominate and some will play wall flower. With speed learning, students are challenged to have several one on one conversations with the other students. Space good for a session outdoors Writing equipment digital or oldschool for reflection. Timeline for Optimal Use: Late in the Semester Full Assignment Description: Use this lesson plan fairly early in Unit 3 of your RHE Ideally students will have read about and discussed the basics of rebuttal refutation, counterargument, possibly concession in a previous session and have started to think about their own position in their chosen controversy. This exercise should both get them to think more carefully about their position and potentially qualify it, as well as raise their awareness for opposing positions, their arguments, and how to rebut them.
I have my student continuously do little free writing exercises in which they reflect on their position and this exercise culminates in one of those, too. This is an exercise that needs a bit of space, so if you are in a computer classroom it might be a good chance for you and your students to see some sunlight for a change. Mine definitely appreciate that.
Divide the class up into two groups of equal size. The first forms a circle, facing outwards, and the second an additional circle around that one, so two students always face each other. If there is an uneven number of students I get into one of the circles as well to even it out.

One such topic is World War II. Based on a technique I had the opportunity to observe in a U. History class, I have developed an activity to help provide students with important background knowledge in an an informative yet engaging way! It is their job to become informed enough about the topic so that they can teach about it to others. Because I typically use this as an introductory activity, I only spend two days on it — Day 1 for research and Day 2 for speed dating.
Although the actual activity itself is relatively straightforward, the most challenging aspect is the preparation involved to make sure it runs smoothly.
